All of our processing, classification, and drafting is done entirely in-house by our technical team. This ensures strict quality control, adherence to ASPRS standards, and immediate, clear communication if there is a question about your project.
We merge the drone's logs with static data collected from a base station over a known point during the flight. This Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) workflow locks the data to your exact local coordinate system with verifiable absolute accuracy. Ground Control Points (GCPs) are used in conjunction with strip adjustment (lidar) and/or triangulation (photogrammetry) to build on the previously established absolute accuracy.
An aerial imagery map and/or point cloud of your project is generated and run through advanced classification algorithms to selectively decimate and separate the millions of points and pixels into standardized classes (e.g. ground, low vegetation, high vegetation, buildings, transmission towers, etc.). The resulting high-resolution aerial image and/or classified lidar point cloud is verified against independently collected check points.
Using the orthomosaic, lidar point cloud, or a combination of the two, features are vectorized and verified against the raw data. Vectorized files are exported into your preferred CAD format and PDF reports are generated where applicable.
